The Blue Economy is an approach that seeks to promote the sustainable use of ocean resources for our economic growth, improve livelihoods, and create jobs whilst preserving the health of our much needed and treasured marine ecosystems. The Green Economy is a model that seeks to improve our well-being and social equity whilst significantly reducing environmental risks and ecological scarcities. Both the blue and green economies prioritize sustainable development, environmental protection, and the efficient use of natural resources. They aim to decouple economic growth from environmental degradation, create new job opportunities, and promote innovation in eco-friendly technologies and practices.

On June 6th, 2024 the Caribbean Institute of Management Consultants (CIMC) will be hosting and invite you to join us in celebrating International Consultants’ Day. Our online event entitled, “Consulting in the Blue-Green Economy” seeks to connect consulting colleagues, professionals, and client organisations around the region and explore how consulting services can empower businesses, projects, and organisations to thrive in the Blue and Green economies.

The online event is free to all, including regional and international professional service providers, management consultants, engineers, architects, attorneys, students, and procurers of consulting services. You can register by clicking the following link: https://bit.ly/CIMC-ICDAY2024. The waiting room opens thirty (30) minutes early, giving you all an opportunity to network with colleagues throughout the region and world. You are welcomed to follow us on LinkedIn for additional updates and speaker profiles, leading up to the day. We look forward to seeing you all there and celebrating the management consulting profession.
