The Caribbean Institute of Certified Management Consultants’ celebrations, held 4 June 2020, included official ‘Proclamations’ by the governments of The Bahamas and Jamaica, recognising International Consultants’ Day, and a highly acclaimed webinar featuring a four-person panel.

The webinar, aptly themed “Disruption and Resilience: Management Consulting in a Digitally Connected World”, was hosted by CICMC, in tandem with the Caribbean Export Development Agency.  The panel was comprised of Dwight Mihalicz (Chairman/ ICMCI), Dr. Sylvia Dohnert (CEO/ Compete Caribbean), Anthony Watkins (Independent Consultant) and Donald Demeritte (President/ CICMC).  The moderator of the event was Hubert Edwards (CICMC Member).

It was against this background that CICMC extended best wishes for a Happy International Consultants’ Day to all Caribbean consultants and an invitation to join the webinar.

CICMC, as the recognized advocacy leader in the management consulting sector in the Caribbean, strives to enhance the professionalism and recognition of management consultants throughout the region. The Proclamations by the Government of The Bahamas and Jamaica, coupled with an official Recognition Statement from Trinidad and Tobago’s Ministry of Trade and Industry, is another strong step in the right direction to promote the principals, values and ethical standards espoused by CICMC, its collegial institutes and umbrella organisation ICMCI.
